Ethnographic Museum

In Toplita municipality, tourists can visit the Ethnography Museum, established in the Cultural Center building.

The museum was originally a department of the old museum complex in Harghita County. The work itself for the establishment has been carried out since the year 1997.

The museum holds objects that illustrate aspects regarding the structure of traditional occupations in Toplita area, such as agriculture, livestock farming, grazing, forest work, traditional trades, hunting, fishing, the gathering from nature; objects that illustrates popular port, houses arrangements and decorations; traditional outfit; objects that illustrate aspects of intellectual life, religious beliefs, etc.
