Waterfall with geothermal water

The waterfall with thermal water in Toplita is a geological and landscaping type  natural reservation. It is located on Cascadei Street, on the left side of the river Mures), in the vicinity of the access road to the Banffy area. It is a waterfall  on a thermal creek that flows out of  the Banffy thermal spings , being considered unique in Romania due to deposition of travertine precipitated from thermo-mineral water, bicarbonated and afloriment deposited on vegetation. Waterfall waters freezes very rare, in cold winters forming icicles with stalactite aspect.
